Job Description:

Medal enables millions of gamers to capture and share their best gaming moments and create memories together. Medal users create 3M+ videos per day across over a million daily active users on our desktop and mobile applications. Your work will have a real impact on millions of people around the world. Responsibilities

    • Support of operations team and executives in the hiring process.
    • Management of new hire integration, with emphasis on 1) quick offboarding if they aren't meeting expectations and 2) setting clear initial expectations on what it will take for the new hire to progress and grow at Medal.
    • Ownership of managing and improving our biannual performance reviews across the company, focused on a simple process that keeps people focused on their growth. For example: Is comfortable with our broad band leveling and our simple 360 review process but can still leverage these to give incisive feedback to the team
    • Management and tracking of everyone's key improvement areas, and ensures feedback is delivered by managers
    • Update and manage our compensation structures to ensure our rewards are in line with market rates.
    • In partnership with executives, ensure that we are compliant with US and EU employment regulations and laws.
    • Update and refine existing performance management processes to effectively let employees know where they stand at all times. With the help of the management team, you will ultimately own the administration of the end-to-end program.
    • Support in critical feedback procedure and employee offboarding
Requirements
    • 4+ years of experience

    • Experience with employment law in the US and internationally
    • Able to be a generalist outside of HR-related work entirely when needed.
    • Cares about and plays video games!
$130,000 - $170,000 a year Equity compensation in addition to the above Full-time, NYC-based
