This is a key leadership position, working directly with the Duke, Duchess and Trustees, and alongside the heads of the Estates' businesses and central functions. The Estates have a relatively flat and highly collaborative organisational structure that is intended to be both open and empowering. The successful candidate will be asked to ensure that all matters relating to the recruitment, development and on-going management of employees is carried out by all line managers in such a way as supports the business needs of the Estate. They will be responsible for the Personnel function, including payroll, ensuring that the Estate upholds its legal and statutory requirements in respect of employment legislation.
