Job Description Job Title: Head of Portfolio Management - Loan Origination & Servicing This position is an on-site position with work from home flexibility. Summary: The Head of Portfolio Management - Loan Origination & Servicing oversees commercial loan operations to ensure efficient processing, timely communications, and process quality consistent with policies and procedures. This leader also ensures all regulatory requirements and standards are adhered to by the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial loan operations and portfolio manager team.
- Responsible for supporting operations staff by setting goals and objectives related to commercial loan processing, closing, and servicing that are in line with the bank's strategic plan.
- Manage the commercial loan pipeline to ensure timely and compliant flow of loan files.
- Manage loan document preparation process with attorneys, working directly with other staff to ensure efficient workflows, and maintaining knowledge of current software systems.
- Support audits and assessments.
- Ensure all government guaranteed loan reporting and documentation is compliant with the respective agency.
- Adapts to concepts and procedures, identifies ongoing training needs on process, products, or servicing issues, and executes on those needs.
- Takes the initiative to follow-up, escalate, or seek additional resources to ensure customer satisfaction and institutional success.
- Develops themselves and team members through training and development.
- Escalates issues immediately and takes necessary steps to prevent and/or minimize loss to the bank.
- Adheres to all Bank policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
- Carries out responsibilities with professionalism, respect for others, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

- Bachelor's Degree Required Required Knowledge/Skills:
- 7 or more years in banking
- 5 or more years demonstrated success leading a commercial loan operations team
- 5 or more years supervisory experience leading a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word Desired Knowledge/Skills:
- SBA 7a Lending Experience Preferred Talents:

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
