About the Role iCapital is looking to hire the Head of Procurement to join the Risk and Corporate Services department. The individual will lead the procurement function and manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services at the best possible value. This role involves strategic planning, vendor management, contract negotiation, and collaboration with various departments to support the company's goals and objectives. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Lead the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, including sourcing, onboarding, managing, and re-evaluating vendors.
  • Oversee the RFP process, including bids, quotes, and information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements throughout the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations, to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities support their objectives
  • Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors and ensure continuous improvement in vendor performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as Coupa and Ironclad
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management related to procurement is preferred
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred
Benefits The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
