Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Projects to lead a project management team. This role is critical in overseeing all stages of the project lifecyclefrom cost estimation to installation. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a sharp design sensibility, ensuring projects consistently meet our high standards for quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Guide and mentor the Production Project Management team, promoting collaboration and high performance.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project management to ensure efficiency and consistency across all projects.
  • Cost Estimation & Budget Oversight: Oversee the project cost estimation process, ensuring alignment with client budgets.
  • Monitor budgets and financial performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain profitability.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and workflows to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate efforts across design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Technical Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to provide technical guidance and ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Sampling & Prototyping: Lead the sampling and prototyping stages to guarantee quality and maintain design integrity.
  • Facilitate client feedback loops to refine samples and prototypes as needed.
  • Installation Oversight: Manage the logistics and execution of the installation process to ensure successful project completion.
  • Act as the primary client contact during installation, maintaining clear communication and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience within the design or fabrication industry.
  • Proven leadership ability with a strong track record of managing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical design, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
