Head of Sales and Relationship Management, GlobalLink Digital and GlobalLink Synergy, Vice President

Who we are looking for

The Head of Sales and Relationship Management for GlobalLink Digital and GlobalLink Synergy, Vice President will accept ownership and accountability for new client acquisition, cross selling and existing client revenue retention efforts for Globallink Synergy and Global Link Digital, as part of the GlobalLink business unit which is the multi-provider trading portal arm of State Street Global Markets including products FX Connect, Fund Connect, Currenex, TradeNeXus, GL Pay and BestX. The candidate will be directly responsible for new client acquisitions and product sales for the GlobalLink Synergy business line. Other responsibilities include reviewing industry publications to identify market opportunities and trends, updating sales reporting and forecasting tools and providing an overall contribution to the success of GlobalLink Synergy. This role is an individual contributor to the GlobalLink business.

This role will be primarily based in London, UK and will consider candidates based in Boston, MA or Jersey City, NJ location. Internal associates will be considered for this role.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Ideal candidate should have 7+ years of foreign exchange technology experience in the financial sector, preferably selling bank execution tools; white labeling solutions.
  • A strong understanding of the eFX marketplace including pricing, execution, STP and product distribution tools.
  • A strong understanding of both buy and sell side front office, middle office and back office functions and workflow.
  • Proven strong sales record including experience selling technology services into the foreign exchange market; US Treasuries and Fixed Income experience a plus.
  • Understanding of FinTech innovation landscape and new technologies; knowledge of FDC3 messaging and interoperability capabilities a plus.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree required and/or relevant professional qualification of 7+ years' experience in trading technology or related markets; foreign exchange or money markets is a plus.
  • Proven track record of driving business development, relationship management and serving clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electronic trading products.
  • Proven initiative in building strong client relationships and resolving client problems.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • Conversant in all appropriate regulations surrounding the provision of GlobalLink products to clients.
  • Attended market conferences and industry conventions to understand market infrastructure.
  • Proven strong presentation skills.
  • Fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role.
  • Proven high ethical standard.

Salary Range:

$135,000 - $210,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
