CONMED Foot & Ankle is seeking a dynamic and performance-oriented head of sales to lead our US sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building an engaged and high-performing team, and ensuring that all sales activities align with our company's values and goals.The Director, US Sales plays a critical role as a key driver of our company culture. Your responsibility is to lead and direct our high growth US based sales team to meet and exceed the divisional sales revenue as well as profitability objectives. Additionally, you will formulate and execute sales plans and budgets that are consistent with and supportive of CONMED's annual business plan. Ensure that CONMED is seen as the preferred solutions provider with all stakeholders.As the leader of our US Foot & Ankle Sales Force you'll be on the front lines partnering with our executive leadership team as we continue to build a talent-focused, high-performance organization. Our business expects to grow double digits and will lead Area Sales Directors, who manage multiple regional managers who oversee both indirect distributors as well as a direct sales team.CONMED is a leader in medical technology.   • Hire, lead, and build the most effective sales and sales management team in the industry.
  • Cultivate a robust talent development plan to build a market-leading organization and culture.
  • Implement effective sales strategies, policies and develop new sales channel opportunities.
  • Ensure professional relations with all customers, trade professionals, and external contacts.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with CONMED personnel and management.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improve revenue generation and increase penetration of our technologies.
  • Serve as the market expert within the business: understanding customer's current and future requirements, strengths, and weaknesses of competitors' products, and how to effectively differentiate our products.
  • Work with surgeons and sales representatives in operating room and laboratory environments to support and promote product evaluations via safe and effective use.
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 8+ years' progressive sales experience in the medical device industry, with some experience specifically in orthopedic medical devices.
    • 5+ years of sales management experience.
    • Expected Travel: up to 60%.
    • Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience in managing a team that manages others.
      • Experience selling and/or marketing foot and ankle products.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written).Benefits:
