Noonlight enables modern and affordable 24/7 professional sensor monitoring, video monitoring, false alarm filtering, and data-rich emergency response via a suite of emergency APIs backing some of the smartest home, health, and lifestyle products in the IoT market and commercial security industry.

Noonlight is looking for a Head of Sales to join our team to drive sales opportunities, further refine the sales strategy, optimize sales operations, and manage a lean but growing sales team. As a key player at Noonlight, you'll spearhead the leadership of the sales team, requiring not just a deep understanding of our technology, but also a knack for creatively designing and articulating solutions that meet client needs. This role will require a leader who enjoys managing and mentoring as well as rolling up their sleeves to directly prospect, build the pipeline, develop solutions and close deals.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Spearhead the identification and cultivation of sales opportunities and strategic partnerships across a diverse range of sizes and industries.
  • Product and API Sales: Expertly market the company's existing software products alongside Noonlight's versatile API solutions.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide strategic leadership to a lean yet rapidly expanding sales team, overseeing both inside and outside sales representatives.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance the sales process and associated tools to establish an organized, repeatable system.
  • Margin Optimization: Attain optimal profit margins by adhering to disciplined pricing guidelines.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Utilize detailed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and regular sales reports to assess and optimize performance across the sales team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of full cycle sales & sales management experience, ideally having sold SaaS / technology solutions.
  • Track record of reliably producing results.
  • Ability to sell directly and through strategic partnerships.
  • Creative and flexible thinker.
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills for a high touch, agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred.
