A day in the life

As the Head of Sales for Prologis Mobility, specializing in commercial vehicle charging, you will pursue high impact opportunities and lead a team of account executives focused on light, medium and heavy-duty logistics customers across North America. You'll work closely with internal teams, key stakeholders, and the Global Head of Prologis Mobility to drive new business and expand existing accounts. This is a dynamic and critical role, positioning Prologis at the forefront of electrification in logistics, creating valuable partnerships with fleet operators, logistics providers, and truck manufacturers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the sales strategy and execution for Mobility solutions, focusing on commercial vehicle fleets and logistics clients across North America.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the light, medium and heavy-duty trucking sectors, when needed personally managing high-value strategic accounts to drive revenue and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate complex sales contracts, including service agreements, long-term charging solutions, and strategic partnerships that align with Prologis Mobility's commercial vehicle electrification goals.
  • Build a high-performing sales team and foster a strong sales culture by effectively managing and mentoring a team of account executives. Set clear sales and performance targets, offer consistent feedback, and ensure each team member not only meets their individual goals but also contributes to the success of the overall team.
  • Drive sales forecasting and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clear communication with leadership, including the Global Head of Prologis Mobility.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create individual development plans for team members, supporting their professional growth and improving overall team performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless sales process from initial contact through to implementation and ongoing support.
  • Provide input to new product development and support radical product standardization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the EV charging space, especially for medium and heavy-duty vehicles, and leverage these insights to inform strategy.
  • Represent Prologis at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the company's EV charging solutions and enhance its leadership in the commercial vehicle charging market.

    Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience leading an enterprise sales team in a rapid-growth and results-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and closing large-scale, complex sales deals.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing small, high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, financial, and business acumen.
  • Proficiency in developing accurate sales forecasts, reporting to leadership, and aligning sales activities with broader business objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Understanding of the EV charging market, particularly for commercial vehicles.
  • Knowledge of medium and heavy-duty truck electrification trends and regulations.
  • Hiring Salary Range of: $172,000 – $237,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
