Continuing its reinvention and acceleration, storied French luxury department store, Printemps, will open a new store in New York, marking the brand's first US initiative. Printemps will open in the historic 50-story landmark building at One Wall Street (1 Wall Street) in the rapidly changing Financial District. As the next chapter of its brand transformation, this Printemps store will be of a different scale, bringing a local approach and focusing on increased omnichannel and seamless experiences.

The Head of Security at Printemps New York leads and oversees all security operations within the store, ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and assets. Develops and implements security policies, manages emergency response protocols.

The Head of Security also ensures compliance with safety regulations and liaises with law enforcement as needed. He plays a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Operations: Oversee all daily security operations, including monitoring surveillance systems, physical security, access control, and response to emergencies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to the store, staff, and customers. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimize theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage. Work closely with store management and other departments to identify and address potential risks.
  • Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Lead the development and execution of emergency protocols for situations such as fire, medical emergencies, and security breaches. Act as the point of contact for law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Security Technology: Ensure that all security technology, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems, are operating effectively. Stay up to date with advancements in security technology to continually improve security measures.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work in close partnership with other departments, including operations, HR, and management, to ensure a cohesive approach to safety and security.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure that all security practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay current on relevant laws and industry best practices.
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver ongoing training programs for security staff on topics such as conflict resolution, emergency response, theft prevention, and customer service.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs and reports of incidents, security breaches, and investigations. Provide regular updates to senior management on security-related matters.

Job Requirements:

  • Certified Safety Professional or other Safety Certification.
  • 5+ years' management experience in occupational safety, security, and health.
  • Previous luxury retail experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency procedures, and loss prevention.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
