The leading international partner of the biopharmaceutical industry and the research sector, helping biotech scientists and engineers across the entire globe to develop and manufacture medications from the first idea to production, is looking to hire a dynamic leader to join the team as the Head of Site Operations at their New Oxford, PA facility. In this key role you will be responsible for the overall site production operations and creating a work environment which promotes high quality products, delivery reliability, cost effectiveness, continuous improvement, and sustainable growth. The incumbent in this key role is accountable for all aspects of the site operations performance. (Team is comprised of approximately 100 employees.)In this leadership role you will be responsible for the direction and the management of site activities and ensure compliance with the company's strategic guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements.- Lead the site with the aim to achieve employee safety, high quality products, customer satisfaction, optimum cost, and employee commitment, engagement, and development- Participate actively in the site budget definition in liaison with all stakeholders and support functions- Oversee and be accountable for ensuring the budgeted financial objectives are met- Define and monitor the site objectives and KPIs in all areas of people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost- Provide updates and insight and reporting to senior management- Ensure optimum use of available resources and assets- Participate actively in the capacity planning and building processes- Participate actively in new product introduction and industrialization- Oversee the site related projects and provide adequate support for their implementation in liaison with the project teams- Manage and mentor the team and promote well being- Ensure that the quality control plans, and the quality systems and procedures are followed- Ensure team follows applicable company procedures (and instructions are deployed and followed)- Deploy and maintain a high-performance mindset (particularly in the domains of problem solving, root cause analyses and lean initiatives)- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in methods, techniques, technology, equipment, tools, materials and supplies- Participate in special projects and global initiatives as a member of the Operations FMT network- Have direct contact with customers (audits) and with all the other stakeholders of the companyMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, 15% performance bonus, PTO
