Job Description

Your Role:

The Head of SMA Client Service will lead and develop a team of Client Service Managers and Associates responsible for delivering exceptional client service to our fast-growing Invesco Separately Managed Account clients including RIAs and Broker Dealer Firms.

The Manager will continuously improve the business operations through automation, internal and external outsourcing and internal workflow improvement to achieve the scale required to support the growing business

To be successful, you will understand Invesco's investment and operational capabilities and service offerings to efficiently diagnose issues and solve problems that inevitably arise in the course of a client relationship. Due to the sophisticated needs of our clients, you will need to build collaborative relationships across our sales, technology, investment, product, marketing, operations, finance, legal, compliance and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client life cycle. You will also partner with your colleagues on client engagement initiatives to ensure the successful servicing of our clients, as well as leverage digital tools and automation in our servicing efforts.

You have a consistent track record and an affiliation for talent management and development, business leadership, client servicing, problem solving, as well as the ability to influence, motivate and inspire colleagues.

You will be responsible for:

* Empower, manage, develop and lead day-to-day team of client service managers/associates responsible for highly responsive, personalized servicing of our Invesco Separately Managed Account clients.

* Analyze workflow processes to achieve scale using industry best practices leveraging technology, internal and external outsourcing or other ideas

* Partner on onboarding new Intermediary clients

* Manage team resource capacity optimizing the use of team resources to deliver on high client expectations.

* Mentor & coach team by providing training, talent management and career development challenges and opportunities

* Provide coaching and guidance to the team on various end to end processes to ensure an outstanding and efficient client experience

* Partner with SMA colleagues to develop and execute projects for SMA business, tactically implementing critical initiatives via strong business/systems competence

* Leads & coordinates cross-team communication with trading, operations, and compliance

* Partner with SMA colleagues to analyze reporting and business trends and recommend course of action.

* Provides training to Distribution regarding SMA services and resources

* Develops communication via channel specific campaigns

* Collaborates with product managers to ensure brand/strategy continuity

* Serve as primary point of escalation for any complex problems requiring a solution for our SMA clients

* Analyze and identify opportunities for efficiencies/improvements

The experience you bring:

* 8+ years of client service management experience at an asset management firm working with retail SMA, RIAs and BD clients, experience with direct indexing, fixed income and equity SMA preferred

* Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred

* Series 65

* Exceptional partnership and teamwork skills to navigate Invesco's matrix organization.

* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with consistent attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.

* Professional presence, ability to present and interact with clients or senior level executives, business acumen, and service-oriented attitude.

* Ability to create, build, and maintain positive working relationships.

* The ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Team player and self-motivated.

The salary range for this position is $145,000to $165,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
