What You'll Do:
As our Sales Director for Food& Dairy, you will:
Lead with Vision: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to secure business in both established and emerging markets across North America.
Inspire and Develop: Manage, train, and mentor a dynamic sales team, setting performance goals and fostering a culture of excellence.
Drive Results: Oversee the sales team's adherence to internal procedures, ensuring accurate CRM entries for forecasting and resource planning.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Business Unit management to qualify opportunities and set and maintain operating and marketing budgets.
Engage with Clients: Regularly visit customers, both independently and with Regional Sales Managers to build and nurture strong relationships.
Ensure Compliance: Make sure the sales team follows all procedural guidelines and GEA policies, including Travel and QHSE.
Lead by Example: Approve sales activity expense reports and maintain close cooperation with key stakeholders within the LPT North America business unit.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or a related field (or 6+ years of relevant experience).
Commercial Acumen: Preferably with additional commercial education or training.
Experienced Leader: Minimum 4 years of management experience and 5 years of sales experience with contract negotiation skills.
Industry Expert: Familiarity with liquid process/separation/concentration and/or drying is a plus.
Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organized & Disciplined: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and in a team setting.
Frequent Traveler: Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Remote Ready: This position offers the flexibility to work remotely.
