- Develop and lead the agency's strategic vision.
- Turn this vision into an executable plan alongside the Executive Leadership Team.
- Build a pipeline of excellent talent to bring into the agency.
- Work alongside project management and other department heads to resource the agency appropriately and provide the right conditions and processes that they will need to be successful.Creative Alchemy and Orchestration:
- Spark and nurture ambitious, original ideas from simple, inspiring briefs.
- Shape idea behaviors to create distinctive experiences across multiple channels, contexts, and cultures.Collaboration and Innovation:
- Evangelize collaboration with creatives, strategy, connections, innovators, clients, and leadership.
- Build and mentor a top-tier strategy department that leverages and collaborates intentionally with the experts in the agency; Data, Culture, Brand, Innovation and Connections strategy.Client Engagement:
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- Act as a trusted business partner.
- Nurture a culture that is focused on effectiveness and impact.
- Create scope for the agency by building relationships within client organizations and positioning the agency to solve bigger problems.
- Mentor and inspire your team and other members of the agency.
- Implement agency-wide strategies in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).Business Development:
- Lead and win pitches, demonstrating decisiveness and effectiveness both backstage and onstage.
- Bring an informed perspective on the agency's positioning, communications, offerings, product, and vision.
- Represent the agency externally at speaking opportunities.Organizational Culture:
- Contribute to creating a values-based agency.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading strategy within an advertising or creative agency.
- Experience: Experience with consumer health, technology, and cultural trends.
- Strategic Thinker: Deep understanding of brand strategy, consumer insight, effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.
- Creative Catalyst: Ability to generate and nurture innovative ideas that are both ambitious and aligned with client needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of commanding respect in high-stakes meetings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships internally and externally.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for mentoring and developing talent within the strategy department.
- Client-Focused: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.All hires must be located in or willing to relocate to New York to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.The annual salary range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days.
