Head of Talent Acquisition (tech or web3)

This position will be leading the TA team and strategies for an innovative tech company that is at an exciting stage of their journey and doubling headcount year on year (currently at circa 800). The successful candidate will have spent their career in the fast-growth tech or web3 environments, and have led a team of at least 10, delivering hundreds of highly technical hires per year.
You will be able to demonstrate how you have used an in-depth understanding of the industry, and strategic mindset to build out and improve high-performing talent acquisition teams and contributed to the growth of various tech or web3 companies.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement a talent acquisition strategy that supports the company's growth goals, including hiring several hundred employees over the next year. Focus on both volume and specialized hires to meet business needs.
- Lead and scale a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, providing coaching, development, and support to ensure recruiters are equipped to meet targets.
- Build and optimize scalable recruitment processes, ensuring speed, efficiency, and high-quality hiring practices.
- Develop and enhance our employer brand to attract top-tier talent, partnering with Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure a compelling and consistent message across all platforms.
- Partner with the Executive team, People Operations, and business unit leaders to understand hiring needs, provide talent market insights, and deliver on recruitment goals.
- Lead initiatives to improve and optimize the candidate experience from application to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive journey for all applicants.
- Establish KPIs for talent acquisition, regularly tracking and reporting on progress to leadership. Use data to inform recruitment strategies and continuously improve processes.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies, job boards, and other vendors to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to improve efficiency, reporting, and candidate management.
Key requirements:
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience leading TA teams in fast-paced, high growth, innovative tech or web3 environments.
- A record of accomplishment of accomplishments in helping complex tech organizations grow at huge scale including doubling headcounts year on year (over 300 headcount growth per year).
- Experience leading talent acquisition teams, building out high performing teams and designing strategies in fast-growth tech industries.
- Track records of leading TA teams for tech organizations that are not only recruiting at volume but also aiming to land highly specialized and technical hires in a hugely competitive market.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions, measure success, and inform strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build partnerships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with broader business objectives while managing operational execution.
