About the RoleWe are looking for a Head of Total Rewards to lead our Benefits and Compensation teams. This leader would be responsible for developing the employee benefits and compensation strategy, implementing the strategyand reporting on the outcomes to leadership and employees.What You'll Accomplish
  • Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies and programs that align with the company's business objectives and enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead a high-performing Total Rewards team and be a strategic partner to the Executive team and People Leadership Team.
  • Partner with People, Recruitment, Finance, and Leadership to understand our employees and the organization's needs related to compensation and benefits.
  • Compensation Management - Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation structures, including base salary, variable pay, and incentive plans.
  • Benefits Strategy - Oversee the design and management of benefits programs including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits.
  • Oversee the administration of employee leave programs and ADA accommodations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
  • Prepare company for IPO readiness: setting up ESPP program, executive compensation, etc.
  • Present our strategy and outcomes to founders/senior leadership, utilizing data to influence required approvals.
  • Communicating benefits and compensation philosophy to employees and addressing employee questions.
  • Ensure all total rewards programs are compliant with local, state, federal, and international regulations (includes Canada and India).
  • Stay current with industry trends and legislative changes impacting total rewards.Hinge Health Hybrid ModelWe believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in benefits and compensation planning.
    • 5+ years experience managing a team.
    • Experience leading total rewards at a late-stage venture-funded company or a public company.Preferred Qualifications
      • Master's degree.
      • Ability to think outside the box and the normal benefits playbook to develop benefits strategies for managing a self-funded health plan.
      • Experience working both at a pre-IPO company as well as a public company.
      • Ideally, someone who has gone through an IPO process and taken a company public.CompensationThis position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
