About this Opportunity The Health and Human Services Business Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of Health and Human Services (HHS) which includes Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Health Services, Public Housing, Social Services, and Veteran's Services. This position is responsible for reviewing, processing, and tracking payments for non-profit grants, EMS, Public Housing, and Veterans Services. The Health and Human Services Business Manager is responsible for tracking and reporting for contracts, service agreements, and grants as well as preparing and monitoring monthly reports. This position also provides logistic support to HHS Departments and is responsible for ordering equipment and vehicles as well as collaborates and works with community groups, local service providers, and businesses throughout the County. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business management or project management, supplemented with three to five years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Physical Requirements Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office equipment. Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
