Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri has an immediate opening for a Health and Nutrition Programs Associate. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Provides overall program support to the Health and Nutrition Team and volunteers as needed. Duties encompass both operational and administrative tasks. Administers scheduling of volunteers, trains and supervises volunteers on-site as needed. Handles all functions of data entry, scheduling for various programs, generates all Health and Nutrition reports and inventory, assists with various levels of grant management including applications, reporting, evaluation, etc. Assists with donation receiving and distributing and manages the CSFP (Senior Food Box Program) and other Health and Nutrition Programs through tracking data and handling all operational components. Upholds a strong commitment to Catholic Charities' mission, with a comprehensive understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and the ability to exemplify the agency's philosophy and values. The organization's identity is rooted in Catholic principles, and therefore adheres to the social and moral teachings of the Catholic Church.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supporting department management in the following areas: o Collaborating with the Director of Health and Nutrition Services to uphold robust fiscal and grant management in accordance with yearly budgets. o Provide operational support and direct support services to the various food and health programs housed within the Health and Nutrition Department and direct support to the Director. o Monitor and track data for the CSFP Program and other Programs as needed to ensure compliance with agency SOPs and funding requirements for grants, as necessary. Demonstrate altruistic and effective delivery of services within the department, including but not limited to:o Coordinating the input of primary data into agency databases in order to track client information both new and old, provide reports, track department volunteers and sustain accurate and up-to-date data for future dashboards. Monitors and ensures files are organized and accurate. o Facilitates training to volunteers as needed (stocking, operational procedures, intake, checkout, etc.) for Health and Nutrition Programs. o Assists with front and back of house operations, serving as a secondary point of contact at Pantry and Warehouse. Will be present during Pantry hours throughout the week and participate in a shared rotating schedule for weekends. Adheres to initial and ongoing orientation, training, supervision, and assessments, including annual performance evaluations as directed by agency and department leadership, in order to support and sustain our culture of organizational health and quality improvement. Fosters and maintains productive working relationships with agency leaders, department staff and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality client services and the successful implementation of program initiatives, with a particular focus on health and nutrition services. Other duties as assigned.Expectations Full-time staff members must be present at their assigned work site Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Core working hours may vary depending on the role and program needs. Contributes effectively as a team member through clear communication, collaboration, and transparency, and demonstrates respectful and appropriate behavior. Attends and actively engages in staff training, meetings, activities, and programs, as necessary. Utilizes standard software and digital applications proficiently.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises Health and Nutrition Department volunteers as assigned. Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required.Other Qualifications Must successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry and criminal background check and complete the Protecting God's Children VIRTUS training session. Possesses a valid driver's license and meets agency requirements for auto insurance coverage.
