Thesuccessful candidate will teach Health Science Dual-Credit courses to students in the VincennesUniversity Early College program located at Ben Davis University High School.The adjunct Health Science Professor will work at Ben Davis University High School teaching varioushealth science dual-credit courses to Early College students. This instructor is responsible for assignedsections of Personal Health Science, Community Health and Wellness, or other assigned courses offeredthrough Vincennes University but located at an early college site on the west side of Indianapolis. A totalof four scheduled courses will run on M, W, and F between the hours of 11:30 am to 4:10. Additionalinformation will be given during the interview process.Experience in teaching in the K-12 or post-secondary setting is preferred but not required. Duties and Responsibilities ? Provide effective instruction and assessment of course objectives to Early College students inassigned sections Personal Health Science, Community Health and Wellness, and any otherassigned courses offered.? Prepare course materials for instruction and assessment as guided by campus syllabi, facultyliaison, and Early College admin.? Be available for an instruction schedule of M, W, and F between 11:30 AM and 4:10 PM? Attend BDU Early College adjunct meetings at the start, middle, and end of the year.? Participate in required yearly professional development.? Utilize various learning management platforms for attendance, grades, and other procedures.? Other duties as assigned. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Tested Experience Credentialing RequirementsBachelor's in health or related field with related industry experience. Industry experience excludesteaching experience.Preferred qualifications: Traditional Credentialing RequirementsMaster's degree in Education, Physical Education, or Health? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Excellent organizational skills.? Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, and planning skills.? Ability to operate general office equipment.? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, or similar software.? Ability to learn and operate Learning Management Systems of various partners and VincennesUniversity.? Ability to adhere to set policies and timelines.? Ability to work a set schedule? Ability to develop course content and assessments.? Ability to implement course content and assessments effectively.? Ability to work via different modalities when conditions warrant.? Ability to maintain confidential information.?
