You will also be responsible for facility management, compliance protocols, assisting in coordinating patient care, responding to patient complaints, managing productivity goals, and implementing various initiatives (such as rolling out new services). Monitoring, meeting, and exceeding Key Performance Indicators will be a key aspect of this role, as well as continuously identifying and implementing Productivity and Efficiency strategies. QUALIFICATIONS: Education
- High school degree or equivalent.
Experience
- Relevant work experience preferred.
- 3-5 years supervision and management experience in positions of increasing responsibility strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors health center flow to ensure quality patient care, timely appointments, minimize flow busters, and reduce staff burnout
- Monitors and intervenes to improve performance indicators and benchmarks
- Monitors regulatory compliance with regards to Laboratory, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, Minor Abuse Reporting, pharmacy etc.
- Manages appointment templates to achieve access and budget goals.
- Markets and promotes health center
- Coordinates incident reporting
- Assesses facility needs and coordinates cleanliness, maintenance, and improvements
- Liaises with local law enforcement
- Monitors facility compliance with city building/business requirements
- Manages medical records archiving and destruction in coordination with medical records
- Handles and tracks customer complaints
- Orders and receives supplies for health center
- Prepares regular financial reports for submission to accounting
- Intervenes and deescalates in situations of upset
- Support volunteer programming
- Maintains health center security system
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
Essential Supervisory FunctionsSupervision of Staff:
- Guides and supervises employees; assigns and delegates tasks.
- Facilitates communication with employees and acts as an ambassador of house-wide initiatives, goals, and policies.
- Creates and maintains schedule to ensure department coverage. Collaborate with the human resources department when a staff need a leave of absence or requests an accommodation.
- Monitors and authorizes time-sheets and time-off requests.
- Collaborates with Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
- Provides professional development, training, and tools to ensure compliance and performance.
- Evaluates employee performance regularly and identifies and provides opportunities for development, coaching, and growth.
- Works to foster positive and productive communication and culture with and among staff.
- Promotes the Values and Service Standards, holds employees accountable to these standards and values, and leads by example.
- Ensures the quality and quantity of work according to established benchmarks and operational needs.
- Ensures implementation of policy and procedure.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with employment laws such as discrimination and harassment in collaboration with the human resources department.
- Reviews and analyzes employment data, such as engagement and turnover, and proposes and implements changes.
Department Manager:
- Monitors department budget and spends responsibly.

- Audits functions throughout department to ensure regulatory compliance.
