Position DescriptionReporting to the Chief of Community Services, the full time, non-exempt Health Educator works to implement health education, prevention, promotion and harm reduction efforts with Honor Community Healths patients, particularly with children and adolescents served by Honors school-based health centers. The Health Educator is responsible for building relationships with students, principals, teachers, parents and other school personnel in order to identify/develop and implement health education and prevention programming. Physical office will be located at the Pontiac High School Child and Adolescent Health Center

This position is for our School-based Health Center. Our standard hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

• Bachelor degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, Health Sciences or related field.
• Previous experience with working in education, healthcare, community-based or human service settings.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with a variety of patient populations.
