Join our team to find a purpose-driven career, an inclusive culture, and robust benefits to support your life while you're working to help others. *Position Overview* The Health Equity Manager (HEM), as a member of the commercial Health Equity and Access Team, works as an account management partner with the commercial field team to educate, develop, and promote new screening tactics and successful cancer screening initiatives for Public Health Systems of care such as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Community Health Centers (CHCs), State Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Regional Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), State Screening Programs, Safety Net Hospitals, Health Departments, and others that serve people who are at higher risk for health inequities. The Health Equity Manager will, in partnership with the commercial field sales teams, interact with leaders within these systems of care who impact system wide policy and programming to implement solutions centered around social determinants of health and disparities in healthcare. This position will collaborate primarily with internal members from Commercial Field and Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and others to pull through programs impacting these populations at targeted systems of care. *This position is field based / remote. This individual will be supporting our West region customers so we are looking for someone based in pacific or mountain time zones or willing to work 8am - 5pm PT. * *Essential Duties* Include, but are not limited to, the following: * Be proficient and demonstrate ability to understand and communicate data around social determinants of health, screening rates, barriers to screening, and follow up care for people who are at higher risk for health inequities. * Be proficient in and demonstrate ability to communicate approved messaging for Exact Sciences' tests. * Partner with field sales/account management team to help them build relationships with key decision makers in systems of care within public health, including FQHCs, CHCs, State Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Regional Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), State Screening Programs, Safety Net Hospitals, Health Departments, and others. * Demonstrate ability to educate, understand, and influence system leadership such as: C/D Suite, Chief Medical Officer, Quality Improvement, Population Health, and other care team leaders and providers. * In partnership with the commercial field sales team, support health equity, quality, and population health leaders within systems of care by offering epidemiologic and clinical data around cancer screening within specified populations. * Upon request, serve as health equity lead in external discussions with key accounts managed by Exact Sciences field sales/account management team. * Communicate and deliver tailored tactics, resources, and programs to address barriers and improve screening within systems of care. * Enable field sales/account management team in their communication on tactics and programs with accounts. * Collaborate with internal colleagues to engage community-based organizations, local, regional, and national advocacy organizations, and other coalitions that support key accounts attempting to implement programs that address barriers and improve screening. * Work collaboratively with medical affairs, customer experience, marketing, and other corporate departments to create and implement educational strategies and resources for targeted health systems. * Provide insight into regional needs and trends within the health equity landscape. * Attend regional community-based events to better understand local issues and needs; bring insights back to Health Equity team to inform health equity programs and tools. * Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent, quality interactions with customers. * Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships, track history and progress. * Ensure that customer insights are shared with relevant leadership to assist in informing future field-based population health strategies and tactics. * Manage time and travel expense budget for health equity related events. * Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as effective presentation skills. * Ability to work well independently and manage time effectively. * Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high quality work. * Strong verbal and written communication; public speaking skills. * Display empathy and cultural sensitivity within the community, healthcare, and business partners. * Discern the best approach for implementing ideas within the region based on cultural landscape. * Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. * Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures. * Maintain regular and reliable attendance. * Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model this behavior daily for the organization. * Ability to travel 60% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel. *Minimum Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Community Health, or related discipline. * 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role such as account management, within healthcare, non-profit or community engagement sectors addressing needs of vulnerable populations. * Proven success in collaborating and influencing multiple functions and groups to achieve desired goals. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as (select all that apply): Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint. * Possession of a valid driver's license; not suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed. * No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. * No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months. * No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability. * Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. * Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. *Preferred Qualifications* * Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Healthcare Administration, Population Health, or related discipline highly preferred. * Experience with health equity, social responsibility, community programming or non-profit work. * Experience within health systems, FQHCs, or community health clinics. * Commercial field experience. #LI-MF1Salary Range: $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
