We are currently seeking passionate, innovative, and highly skilled individuals to join our dynamic team.Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Manager to join our Operations team. The Health Manager will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness of our students, providing first aid and medical care as needed, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. In addition to health-related duties, the Health Manager will also assist with front desk operations, administrative tasks, and support morning arrivals and afternoon dismissals.Key Responsibilities:*
  • Health and Wellness:* Provide first aid and medical care to students and staff as needed.* Maintain accurate health records for all students.* Administer medications according to school policy and doctor's orders.* Implement health plans for students with chronic conditions.* Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related issues and promote a healthy school environment.* Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations and school policies.* Operational Support:* Assist at the front desk, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing student check-ins and check-outs.* Support the operations team with various tasks such as filing, data entry, and everyday administrative needs.* Assist with morning arrivals and afternoon dismissals to ensure student safety and efficient operations.* Coordinate with teachers and staff to manage student health needs during school hours.* Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities.* Communication and Coordination:* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs and concerns.* Collaborate with school staff to create and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.* Attend meetings and training sessions as required.Required:* CPR and First Aid certification (if expired, may be retrained after joining)* Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and healthcare providers.* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and keeping accurate health records.* Availability to work the specified hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday).* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.* Friendly, approachable, and patient demeanor.* Maintains a professional appearance and behavior at all times.Preferred* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field.* Current RN or LPN license preferred.* Previous experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.* Experience in administrative or operational support roles.* Knowledge of state and local health regulations pertaining to schools.Working ConditionsThis position typically operates in a school front office environment. The Health Manager may occasionally need to work evenings or weekends for special events or meetings.* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.* Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.* Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations* Must be able to stand, sit, and move around the front office area as needed.
