As a Health Payer Government Programs Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities may include:
Consulting Project Delivery
* Manage day-to-day operations of government health payer programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' government health payer operations to identify areas for optimization and growth.
* Develop and implement operational processes to improve program efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program accuracy, improve member experience, and reduce administrative burden.
* Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor program performance, identify trends, and track areas for improvement.
Leading Transformational Change
* Lead large-scale transformation initiatives in government health payer operations, focusing on streamlining processes, enhancing service delivery, and achieving operational excellence.
* Drive transformational change and lead change initiatives that require a deep understanding of functional processes, combined with the ability to navigate across business domains and align with emerging technologies.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
* Monitor changes in federal and state regulations to ensure all programs adhere to compliance standards, including audits, reporting, and quality benchmarks.
* Advise clients on regulatory updates, helping them adjust operations and processes to remain compliant with evolving healthcare laws and regulations.
Client Relationship Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships and providing strategic guidance on government program operations.
* Conduct regular progress updates, address client needs, and offer insights and solutions to improve program performance and achieve desired outcomes.
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead and mentor a team of analysts and consultants, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
* Provide training and development opportunities to support team members' professional growth and align their skills with project needs.
Travel
* As needed, up to 80%

Qualification
Here's what you need:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in health payer operations (EG, membership, claims, provider operations), program management, or consulting, with a focus on government-funded health programs (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP).
Bonus points if you have:
* Master's degree preferred.
* Experience working with or leading global teams.
* Thrive in a diverse, fast paced environment.
* Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Leadership experience, including team management and project oversight.
* Demonstrated experience with Medicare/Medicaid and ACA regulations and compliance requirements, with proven experience in regulatory adherence, risk management, and program auditing.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
