: Job Details :

Major Responsibilities: Respond to health record requests from attorneys, insurance companies, physicians, patients, as well as subpoenas. Respond to subpoenas, attorneys, physicians, internal departments and patient requests for health records and Radiology films or C - Ds. Also responding to all Occupational & Employee Health subopenas, doing research, making corrections, speaking with Attorneys and their staff ensuring the accuracy of all subopenas. Entering all notes into Systoc system. Prepping and scanning all subopenas into On-Base system for future reference. Performs the Functions of a Radiology File Clerk. Review record logs of patient records stored at off-site facility and on microfilm for aging to ensure proper retention and timely destruction of records based on regulatory rules.
