Position Type: Support Services/Health Room AideDate Posted: 6/12/2024Location: District-wideDate Available: 2024-2025 SYThe West York Area School District is currently seeking a Full-Time Health Room Aide, school year only. Requirements/Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification with experience in the medical field.
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform clerical assistance in the health room office, including projecting a positive image for the district.
- Render first aid to students and dispense medication (LPNs only), per instructions.
- Prepare physical and dental forms for parents' completion.
- Record information from health room logs to individual health records.
- Distribute follow-up letters of referrals that are outstanding.
- File correspondence and paperwork.
- Assist with the care, storage, inventory, and requisition of equipment and supplies.
- Prepare attractive and informational displays.
- Maintain and update the student health record files.
- Keep the health room orderly and attractive.
- Enter immunizations into MMS.
- Coordinate student physical examination times for instructional staff members, completing passes for students, as needed.
- Attend training as dictated by the supervisor.
- Perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by the Principal, Pupil Services Director, or designee.

- Ability to walk, stand, and sit.
- Ability to bend, twist, and climb stairs.

Schedule (times may vary):
Compensation: This position is part of the Support Agreement. Wages will be based on experience, in accordance with the Support Agreement. Wages range from $17.08 - $25.28 per hour. EOEAttachment(s):
