Job Description:

As a member of the Management Team, the HSE Manager reports to the CEO. The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and directing health safety and environmental activities to ensure employee engagement and both regulatory compliance and compliance with HSE requirements. They also implement the HSE management system to protect human health and the environment. Additionally, the HSE Manager provides motivation and direction to the staff of professionals they manage. Minimum Requirements: •Applicants should possess between 5- 8 years of hands-on experience in Health Safety and Environmental Management within the construction industry. •A bachelor's degree in health and safety management is a prerequisite for this position. •Candidates are required to have a CHST Certification, while having a CSP Certification is considered advantageous. •Applicants should demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively. •Flexibility to travel to sites across the United States •Positive attitude towards working within constantly changing priorities are highly valued qualities in potential candidates. Responsibilities in position: •Collaborating proactively with commercial and operational teams to develop safe solutions for project delivery. •Develop and maintain the company's safety manual and environmental plans. •leading Health Safety and Environmental training programs for the company. •Coordinating workers' compensation claims in the event of employee injury •Coordinating vehicle insurance claims in case of equipment damage •Regularly visiting sites and creating inspection reports to record findings. Supporting field supervisors by assisting with AHAs, daily pre-start meetings, and conducting various toolbox talks during visits. •Assign responsibilities and goals to the members of your department. •Conduct annual performance reviews with your staff to assess their progress and provide feedback. •Managing and maintaining prequalification website (ie.
