DescriptionHealthcare Content Specialist - ContractLocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid Schedule)Duration: 3+ months (Contract)Hours: 30-40 per weekWe are seeking a Healthcare Content Specialist to join our team on a 30-40 hours per week basis for a 3+ month contract. This role will follow a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for creating patient-centric content and thrive in a collaborative, regulated industry environment.Day in the Life:+ Create engaging, patient-centric copy for a large healthcare client.+ Develop copy-heavy, long-form documents with captivating headlines and subject lines.+ Collaborate closely with the creative team and education team to design actionable strategies for patients and healthcare providers (HCPs).+ Conduct research and interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance.RequirementsHealthcare Content Specialist - ContractTop 3 Must-Haves:+ Proven experience in pharma, insurance, or other heavily regulated industries.+ Demonstrated ability to produce compelling long-form copy (please provide samples).+ A knack for injecting creativity into content that could otherwise feel dry or overly technical.Preferred Experience:+ Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical content creation.+ Familiarity with insurance or regulated industries.+ Strong understanding of compliance considerations in highly regulated spaces.Skills & Tools:+ Ability to handle both print and digital formats, including email and social media (paid and organic).+ Skilled in writing deadline-driven copy.+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.+ Experience with project management tools like Basecamp (or similar tools).+ An online portfolio showcasing long-form and patient-focused writing.Your expertise in crafting engaging, patient-friendly content will play a critical role in educating and inspiring our target audiences while adhering to strict industry regulations.
