Our Health Care Director Specialist will support different communities in the region depending on staffing and coverage needs, as determined by the Regional Health Care Director. The Health Care Directors monitor medication management, perform resident assessments, provide leadership and guidance on health issues, provide onsite medical care and communicate changing medical needs to the team and family members. This position also champions high quality and infection control, verifies physician orders, move-in/move-out information and supervises the ordering, delivery, transcription and documentation of medication, treatments and orders under their authority. Requirements We are looking for a Health Care Director Specialist who has a current nursing license in the state and has previous supervisory experience which includes management, coaching and health care services. Other requirements for the Health Care Director Specialist include but are not limited to: The ability to travel to different locations in a region, some to require overnight stays depending on where the associate resides Prefer prior experience in supervising direct care staff Require prior experience as a RN or LPN/LVN Require ability to read, speak, and write English clearly Benefits Becoming a member of the Legend team offers a rewarding future with a growing company.
