Healthcare Financial Analyst
The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns and operates more than 90 healthcare facilities across six states. As a family-owned company, we have grown into one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Toledo area Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) by gathering, organizing, and reporting relevant financial data. This position can be remote, but the candidate must live in proximity to the LTACH in Toledo, OH and will be required to work on-site 3-4 days per month during month-end closing. Candidates must have prior experience working with LTACHs.
Estimated Pay: $90k/annually
Purpose/belief statement:
Financial Analysis support is an important function within the organization. The Financial Analyst manages internal and external reporting and analysis for the LTACH.
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and create reports based on functional area needs
- Responsible for ensuring timely monthly reporting package completion and distribution.
- Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, ability to create new visuals based on requestor inputs
- Assist CFO by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data
- Assist leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits
- Fast paced environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge – ability to adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to create clear and concise reporting – operational knowledge of data to ensure validity
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Excellent Excel skills are required
- Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
- Must have prior LTACH experience
