This position performs the critical skill set of strategic leadership and planning, tactical leadership, system/process development,training and development and change leadership for Supply Chain and Procurement. Uses Lean Six Sigma methodology to work on process analysis, time/cost studies, process simulation, process and quality improvement, financial and organizational planning and information system design. Will provide statistical reports and analysis for all standards. Will provide and organize process improvement services to stakeholders as requested. Analyzes and defines a frame for ambiguous problem statements, drafts a project charter, plans, initiates and oversees execution of all elements of the project. Defines data insights required for improved decision making across Supply Chain and Procurement
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Process design/redesign initiatives through various methodologies: system/ops analysis, forecasting demands, constraint analysis, application of queuing theory service delivery methods, simulation modeling, work flow analysis, perform in depth financial analysis
Utilize benchmarking applications and databases as well as Lean Six Sigma methodologies to ensure identification and adoption of best practices that will lead to superior process performance.
Serve as an internal consultant to administrative staff in project management and development. Will gather data through, reports, rounding observation and/or department submission.
Utilization of systems, process and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to ensure optimal management for effective and efficient processes. Ability to streamline processes, recommend centralization of services/systems, standardization of products/processes, and to identify of savings through process improvements
Initiation and implementation of cost reduction/ containment programs. Utilization of sound project management techniques, team facilitation, coaching and teaching.
EDUCATION: Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering or a related field with a focus on Management Engineering, Information Technology,Healthcare and or Operations Research required.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
