Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator to join their team in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role within our nursing department, ensuring seamless scheduling and staffing for our skilled nursing team. The current employee is being promoted after 10 years in the role, creating this opportunity. With your own office space and a business casual dress code, you will have the opportunity to work closely with nursing staff to make a meaningful impact on patient care.Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities:Coordinate and develop nursing schedules for three shifts, ensuring optimal staffing based on regulations and approved budgets.Maintain master staffing schedules, making adjustments as needed for employee illnesses, absenteeism, and resident needs.Use the HRIS system to automate schedules for over 100 skilled nursing employees.Fill staffing shortages by reaching out to agencies and ensuring shifts are covered.Maintain constant communication with nursing staff to address scheduling issues and changes.Print, post, and distribute bi-weekly schedules and daily updates.Track and manage pool staff usage, maintaining contact with pool staff regarding weekly needs.Minimize agency use and overtime to manage labor costs efficiently.Assist with payroll by entering scheduled time off, compensatory time, and making necessary adjustments.Maintain compliance with Moravian Manor's Corporate Compliance Program and Privacy policies.Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator Qualifications:Must have scheduling experience, preferably in a medical office setting.Strong communication skills, proficiency with technology, and basic Excel experience.Detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and able to handle changes quickly and efficiently.This is a direct hire position for $20-23/hr based on experience.
