Please apply, we can't wait to work with you!See job detail below:Duration: 18 MonthsSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pmRemote or in-person requirements: Hybrid once per month in the officeLocation: 280 State Drive, Waterbury, VT 05676Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $23.76General Overview:The Vermont Healthcare Support Specialist I (VHSSI) determines applicant eligibility for Vermont's health care programs including Medicaid, Dr. Dynasaur, Healthy Vermonters, VPHARM, and Vermont Health Connect. The VHSSI reviews and enters applications for Vermont's health care programs to determine eligibility and complete enrollment and plan selection and processes changes with extreme attention to detail to ensure accurate processing. The VHSI regularly processes work in each of the health care programs/subprograms. The majority of VHSSI work is processed off-line with customer outreach completed as neededThe Healthcare Services Specialist I role has the following responsibilities: Researching and resolving discrepancies in healthcare profiles. Reviews and enters applications and life changes with accurate eligibility. Can work multiple work buckets. Subsidy, Coverage Dates and Eligibility Discrepancies. Reconciliation of the different systems to ensure all data aligns with the health exchange and our carrier partners.
