Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff, and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**+ Performs Evaluation eligibility and applications services to applicants for HEAP.+ Interviews clients either in person or by phone to obtain housing, demographic and income information.+ Assists individuals in providing required documentation and evidence of income in order to conduct an accurate eligibility determination.+ Responds to heating and utility emergency situations.+ Performs data-entry functions.+ Assists with Outreach and Publicity for the program in partnership with DHS.+ Assists in promoting the HEAP program to various community organizations and coalitions.+ Collaborates with team members to ensure tidiness of the office. Responsible for following COVID guidelines, including PPE, sanitization and upkeep of work area.+ Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings+ Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job role performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops.+ Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan.
