Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - (3) 12-hour shifts
1st Shift (7am-7pm): $18.00/hour + 10% Weekend Shift Differential
2nd Shift (7pm-7am): $18.00/hour + 20% Weekend/PM Shift Differential
What you will experience in this position:
Work from heat treat specifications, charts, tables, shop orders, and written or verbal instructions.
Start up all equipment at the beginning of shift or after emergency shut down.
Manually regulate flow of parts from feed table and position on hearth, visually checking for obvious defects. Periodically check hardness of treated parts.
Adjust temperatures, time cycles, and feed to control variables such as material differences to maintain product quality.
Observe instruments such as thermometers, pressure gauges and flow meters.
Control generating equipment by checking dew point and adjusting air/gas flow to maintain quality.
Move treated parts to finishing area.
Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintainwork area in a neat and orderly condition.
Perform other related duties as assigned or directed which may require more than the normal shift hours to meet company needs.
What you will bring :
High School diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years Manufacturing experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines
Are self-motivated with strong troubleshooting skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Physical and Environmental Abilities
Bend, squat down, and reach above your head
Climb stairs and ladders
Lift and carry at least 50 pounds
Work in confined spaces
