Serves as a fully trained operator, running multiple Heated Process Vessels at a given time: Performs tasks associated with running multiple Heated Process Vessels Interprets process sheet instructions, sets vessels, conduct testing, and adjusts run product according to directed specifications. In the absence of a Heated Process Lead, signs-off on Product Change Overs on Heated Process vessels for which the Operator is qualified to ensure a level of completeness and quality Ensures production documentation is complete and accurate (process sheets, shift hand-offs) Supports PCOs and turnarounds as needed and as assigned by the Heated Process Lead Supports Associates in the completion of PCOs, turnarounds, screening, and any other relevant activity Takes initiative, in partnership with Heated Process Lead, to engage on the highest priority activities across Heated Process at any given timeCompetencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:Dependability: Commits to doing the best job possible. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education/Experience: Chemical Processing or Advanced Materials Ideally 1-3 years' experience as a fully qualified operator on rotating equipment or jacketed vessels or similar assets High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Language Ability:Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Mathematical Ability:Add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability:Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
