Brief Description: The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is seeking applicants to fill the Health and Wellness Team Leader position supporting the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) School Health Project. This is a grant funded stipend position with duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Compensation: The compensation for this stipend position is $3,500 for the 2024-2025 school year.

Duties:

Assist the Perth Amboy School Health and Wellness team with self-assessing school health-related policies, programs, curriculum, and services.

Create and facilitate the implementation of a School Health Improvement Plan under the direction of administration.

Co-facilitate monthly team meetings in support of the School Health Project with administration.

Facilitate the integration of a social emotional learning (SEL) program at Perth Amboy Magnet School.

Qualifications:

New Jersey Certificate: School Nurse, School Social Worker, or School Counselor.

Appointment: Appointment is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
