Location: Staten Island, New York

Salary: Up to $55ph (Negotiable for the right candidate)

About the Role:

As a Mobile HVAC Technician based in Staten Island, New York, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of HVAC systems across a diverse range of sites, including commercial, private, and residential properties. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC systems and chillers, contributing to the comfort, safety, and efficiency of our clients' environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections of HVAC systems and chillers to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to restore HVAC systems to optimal operating conditions.
  • Install new HVAC units and chillers, ensuring proper alignment, wiring, and functionality.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, providing efficient and effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts utilized, and service reports.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate service appointments and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to HVAC systems and chiller maintenance to enhance service delivery and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC & Chiller maintenance.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC systems and chillers.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, components, and systems, including refrigeration cycles and electrical systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and service excellence.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification Required.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

  • HVAC: 4 years Minimum (Required)

License/Certification:

  • EPA Certification (Required)
