Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Manager to oversee the operations of our HVAC service department. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in HVAC service management, with a strong background in team leadership, customer service, and operational efficiency. The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of HVAC services to customers, managing a team of technicians, and driving the department's performance to meet both company and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience in HVAC service management or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management position.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC certification (EPA, NATE, or similar) required. Additional technical certifications preferred.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair procedures. Familiarity with HVAC software and systems for job management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to resolve customer issues effectively and professionally.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and materials. Comfortable working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
