JOB SUMMARY Perform all assembly operations necessary to assemble assigned parts in accordance to provided specifications and processes. In more complex project orders the candidate assembles large agitator equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Aligns components, for fit, form and function and fastens them together using acceptable mechanical practices.
- Plans assembly procedures, following specifications from blueprints and related documentation both written and verbal.
- Inspects components and ensures acceptable quality standards.
- Ability to use a variety of hand, power tools and material handling equipment along with measuring devices such as micrometers, verniers, dial indicators and torque equipment.
- Ability to rig and maneuver large heavy materials using proper equipment such as 10-ton crane while working in a confined space environment or with assembly built and test equipment.
- 5S Area daily
- Other relevant duties may be assigned to cover departmental needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Mechanical aptitude
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
- Ability to interpret basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints.
- Work in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5 plus years related or assembly experience preferred.

The anticipated salary range is what we believe to be the likely base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual salary for this position will depend on relevant qualifications, skills, and experience.
