- Performing routine and emergency inspections, maintenance and repairs on gas, diesel, electrical hybrid fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Installing multi-faceted components and complex systems, including but not limed to, air bags, air conditioning and anti-lock braking systems.
- Preparing service orders and coordinating work schedules with customers, parts room and vendors.

- Requires a high school diploma or GED AND three years of recent experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy and light duty equipment.
- Advanced electronic system training and experience is required.
- Complex hydraulic, air, air conditioning and electronic diagnostic training and experience are required.
- Experience as a machinist is preferred.
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) endorsement is preferred and may be required.
Special Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and throughout employment.
- Driving record that meets County standards
- Possess a certified WA State Flagging and Traffic Control Card.
- Must supply own tools except for special types.
