Pay - IAM member starts at $23.59 to Top Rate of $26.16Essential Functions of the Job:Assembles components and sub-assemblies into completed productAssists in set up for productionVerifies dimensions and makes adjustments during the assembly processPerforms testing of finished product by checking operational functionsDisassembles, reworks and does touch up painting as requiredAssists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safetyPerform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to assemble components and sub-assemblies into completed productAbility to assist in set-ups for productionKnowledge and experience to assemble and test most productsAbility to verify dimensions and make adjustments by reading blueprints and using measuring instrumentsAbility to perform testing of finished product by checking operational functionsAbility to disassemble, rework and touch up painting of partsAbility to assist with training of coworkers in proper work procedures and safetyKnowledge of and ability to operate machinesKnowledge of and ability to use, both hand and power tools essentialAbility to operate a forklift and overhead craneKnowledge of product's operational functionsAbility to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basisAbility to perform other duties as assignedAbility to prioritize work using general guidelines to respond to multiple, simultaneous demands and requirements efficiently without losing composure.Knowledge of GMS and safety systems to ensure compliance.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year assembly experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment or transferrable experience preferredWorking Conditions:Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist/turn, bend/squat, climb, reach below knees and reach above shoulders on a continuous basis.Must be physically capable of standing/working 8+ hour shift(s)Frequent overtime scheduled, including weekendsFrequent use of powered material handling equipment.Frequently required to lift/carry up to 15lbs unassisted, occasionally lift/carry 16-50lbs unassisted.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perceptionWhy should you work at Gradall?Competitive wagesGenerous Benefits package includingMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceSick and Accident InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid Vacation401k Retirement PlanOpportunities for training and developmentAdvancement OpportunitiesPlease apply today!Gradall is an equal opportunity employer.
