Our North Garden, VA sawmill is hiring for a wheel loader/front loader operator. The positions primary responsibilities include moving various materials such as logs, cants, and packs of lumber. These are full time opportunities working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Heavy Equipment Log Operator Responsibilities
* Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
* Unload incoming log trucks and sort hardwood logs by species
* Keep up with sawmill operations and process flow by loading/unloading material on decks
* Ability to work independently
* Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
* Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
Heavy Equipment Log Operator Qualifications
* Previous experience as an equipment operator using a wheel loader or similar machine
* Must be self motivated and organized
* Willingness to work in outside environment and work overtime
