Summit Technology Services has a Direct Hire opportunity for an Industrial Equipment Mechanic in Wellsville, NY

Job Location: On-Site, Wellsville, NY No remote candidates

Schedule: Full-Time 40+ hours/week

We are looking for experienced large industrial equipment mechanics with a strong background working on steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and/or reciprocating compressors, as well as large rotor balance and assembly.

Ideal candidates may have experience working in the field commissioning and decommissioning customer equipment. Candidates must have experience disassembling, diagnosing, rebuilding/repairing, and reassembling heavy industrial equipment. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experience is a plus.

Must Have:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on large, heavy industrial equipment
• Safety First attitude
• Ability to meet and adhere to very tight tolerances
• Ability to read blueprints and supporting technical documentation
• Ability to work through stressful situations with a high level of problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and flex shifts when needed
• Willingness to travel to customer locations when needed
• Your own hand tools custom tools and equipment will be provided
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

These roles have an opportunity for short-term travel from time to time depending on project and customer needs. Field service roles available for candidates willing to travel full or near-full time.
