Work for a Morris County, NJ area construction company. They are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. * Heavy equipment mechanics maintain, diagnose, repair, and adjust industrial machinery. This machinery includes mobile mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, conveyors, and graders. It is the job of a heavy equipment mechanic to ensure that mechanical products and equipment are functional and safe at all times. On a daily basis, they will test, diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance work on all construction equipment under their care.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment in the field. You will travel to various job sites to make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders, trenchers, forklifts, and more. Applicants should have some experience with diesel heavy equipment repair so they can determine what parts and tools are necessary for repairs.
