Mechanic Responsibilities
  • Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines
  • Inspecting vehicle systems, suspensions, steering, and exhaust
  • Repair and/or replacement of vehicle transmissions, brakes, rotors, etc.
  • Test driving vehicles after work has been completed to ensure performance and safety
  • Oil changes, brake checks, routine maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain records of work to be completed and post completion
  • Other duties as assigned as needed
Position Requirements Mechanic Qualifications
  • 2 - 5 years' experience as a mechanic - Caterpillar and Cummins experience a plus
  • Experience working on air brake and hydraulic systems
  • Welding, preferred
  • Metal working and light fabrication
  • CDL class B preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
