- Perform all maintenance and repairs on various pieces of heavy equipment and on-road trucks
- Perform preventive maintenance on all company owned vehicles and equipment
- Perform DOT Inspections
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret diagnostic manuals and schematics
- Some travel required
Candidate Profile:
- Skilled in the use of a variety of hand tools, gas and electric welding equipment, jacks, and hoists
- Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detailed and organized
- Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years heavy equipment mechanic experience required
- Commercial Driver License (CDL Class B) with clean driving record required
- DOT Certification required
Work Hours & Compensation:
- Availability for odd working hours, weekends & nights if needed
- Compensation: Hourly Wage (weekly pay-period)
