H2O Innovation is seeking a new team member for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Gulfport, MS team. Our next colleague will hold a full time & permanent position. Your primary duty will involve operating heavy equipment to clean ditches and ensure proper drainage flow.The BenefitsOverall remuneration including:* Salary of $16.50 per hour;* Group insurance plan;* 401k plan;* 11 statutory holidays;* Vacations and wellness days.The Day-to-Day* Perform ditch cleaning to maintain optimal hydraulic and drainage flow;* Operate a variety of equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, and graders;* Ensure all daily operations adhere to safety protocols and are executed efficiently;* Request utility line locates and comply with line locate policies;* Prepare and submit written reports as required.The Skills We Are Looking For* Valid driver's license and high school diploma/GED;* Minimum of 6 months of experience operating excavators, backhoes, dozers, and graders;* Experience with pipe-laying in the construction field is advantageous;* Proficiency in blueprint reading and establishing grade preferred;* Excellent oral and written communication skills;* Ability to effectively communicate with the public, team members, and supervisors;* Capable of performing physical tasks in diverse weather conditions.The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.#O&MGULFPORT
