- Must be safety oriented and self-motivated
- Shift begins 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- 6 days per week may be required//Saturday-Sunday-holiday may be required
- Must be able to work in all types of weather. cold-hot-snow-ice-rain-wind
- Must not be afraid of heights or water and be able to swim
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds upstairs or catwalks
- Must be able to shovel material for extended periods of time/operation of skid steer
- Must be trainable to perform all types of plant maintenance
- Clean coal barges
- Help lift 50 pounds above head
- Must be willing to learn to operate other mobile and crushing equipment on site as well as other Tasks associated with the mining operation
- Operate a variety of front-end wheel loaders.
- 8-12-hour days required
- Outside most of shift
- Year-round work
- Works off dock on the Ohio river.
