We have staked our reputation on our ability to deliver each of these.The Quarry Equipment Operator must have 2-3 years expereince running:-Bulldozer-Excavator-Motor Grader-Front End Loader -Backhoe-Track Hoe Loader-Haul TruckJOB DESCRIPTION-EXPERIENCE: Two+ years of Heavy Equipment Operating experience - preferably in the construction field-OPERATE: Ability to operate haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment -HEO/ Heavy Equipment Operator: Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in an open-pit mine-HEAVY EQUIPMENT to: Gouge out, level, and distribute earth and to push trees and rocks from land preparation to constructing roads and to move rock material to or around production areas.-DAILY TASKS: Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.-REGULATIONS: Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment.-EYE CONTACT: When working with co-workers, constant eye contact will be maintained when communicating using hand signals or other movements.-BASICS: Basic math, reading, and writing skills are required-TEAM MEMBERS: Follow the directions of the Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.-TEAM BUILDING: Assisted in training less experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing, and repairing equipment to further their abilities. -OTHER: -The operator will be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.- Perform other general labor duties as assigned-NICE to HAVE: Previous surface mining experience preferred but not requiredWESTERN ROCK's Jobsites-STARR QUARRY: 10300 SE Starr Quarry Rd, Amity, OR-LAURELWOOD QUARRY: 14375 NE Cunnigham Ln., Gaston,OR-STEPHENS QUARRY: 18250 SE WALNUT Hill Rd., Amity, OR-GOBLE ROCK: Nicolai Rd., Ranier, OR*Note: Your jobsite will be determined based on the company's needs at the time.
